Origins Game Fair 2026 and Beyond

Origins Game Fair 2026

Origins Game Fair ended a couple of weeks ago, and I'm just now wrapping my head around the weekend.

First, to anyone who came by the Foxweave Studios booth and took home a new piece of shiny jewelry, a clicky-clacky fidget, or a keychain, thank you! Foxweave Studios is a dream that is coming true for me, and you all told me to keep building and chasing this dream.

To all the organizers, coordinators, and volunteers, if you see this, thank you! As a smaller artisan, I felt like I knew exactly what was going on from arrival and load-in, to coordination on the floor, to load-out.

Each day was full of wonderful interactions and experiences, and we hope to be back for future editions of Origins Game Fair. We hope to see familiar faces from 2026, make new connections, and continue to grow with the attendees who may become familiar faces, and possibly even friends.

This year we were on site for the Exhibit Hall hours, and then left for food, tied up business for the day, and prepared for the next day. Next year I am hoping to find time to do things outside of the Exhibit Hall. I have fond memories of attending gaming conventions, and look forward to finding time to explore Origins.

And Beyond

Next up for Foxweave? We're making a shift away from local art fairs and festivals, and toward more conventions. We're looking at conventions with hopes of building a steady schedule, places we can be found year after year, build connections with the teams that run them, the organizations that support them, and the various raffles and charities that exist around them. I started playing tabletops when I was 17 and they've been a wonderful part of my life since then. I love the geek culture, anime, game nights, and want to lean into those loves, blended with my love of being a chainmail and scalemail artisan.

Have a convention you'd like to see us at? Reach out to us on our contact form. I'm building out our 2027 and beyond schedule.
